Camino Portuguese Day 5, 4/23. Valada to Santarem

After breakfast at Marchanta, today was a nice easy trek through a countryside fields and wineries.

Wait... is it a Santarem on the horizon?... looks like it's going to be a climb 🤨

Of course a climb... glad I didn't go all the way to Santarem yesterday, a climb after 33km would be brutal 😅

Meeting more pilgrims from USA, Korea, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Italy... met in Portugal at Japanese restaurant 😆🤷‍♀️ only on Camino 😄

Tonight is just a dorm bed in a very nice hostel Villa da Graca. Glad it's only me and Korean girl in the room!
