We aren’t always making right decisions… and it was that kind of day (I thought at first). I switched to central route from coastal and was sorry I did it 😢 More cobblestone walks, more busy roads walks and not so much to see different from what I’ve been seeing walking all the way from Lisboa. I walked about 30 km from Villa da Conda to Barcelos and mostly on this kind of road
Which is just killing my little feet 👣 😢 I missed wooden beach walkways along the coast….
Busy roadsides walk and it seems that speed limit and pedestrians crossing signs are just a suggestions, no one care about that. Couple times today had a panic attack that I’ll be killed today by a
car.
It actually unproved a lot after Barcelos, a cute little town with lots of architecture and folk art.
I stayed in a very traditional alebergue. They served a dinner with local homemade wine that we shared with other pilgrims.
Today I’ve seen a beautiful countryside and several very nice churches and chapels, walked through medieval villages and flowers fields.
Ponte de Lima. Very cute medieval town!
For lunch I had a stuffed rabbit with chestnut purée and broccoli leaves 😆 and of course local wine 🍷
Sometimes I just want to quit and go home. I’m so tired of this Camino. It's been very long and I do not enjoy it… And then I think if i won’t finish it I’ll fail. But I don’t want to fail. Camino is a reflection of our life and I don’t want to fail in life. I want to be happy and successful. It doesn’t come easy in life so that’s why I’m struggling here on Camino and hope that this struggling could be a blessing later in my life. So I get up in the morning, pack my backpack again (day 25😳) and hit the road again… hard, hilled cobblestone road… but now I’m walking with a smile 😊
You go girl!🔥 You can make it!💪🏼😎 Don’t give up!✊🏼 We all are so proud of you!🫶🏼 Sending you my most positive vibes🙌🏼💗 Waiting for more pics with that smile of yours 😁
IAlways face life with that beautiful smile of yours! It will make you and others happy!! You are almost there. One foot in front of the other!
