This will be my special Camino. My plan is to reach the Santiago de Compostella on my 50th birthday May 23rd. UPDATE: I am flying from Seattle on April 17th and will arrive into Lisbon on April 18 (making a quick stop in Dublin). I will start walking from Lisbon to Porto on central Portugese route till I reach Porto.

There are three different routes can be taking from Porto to Santiago and I am planning to switch between them to see the most of Portuguese way. The total distance of the Camino from Lisbon to Santiago is about 630km +/- depending on the route I choose. I plan to start walking from Porto the Littoral Way, walk the Coastal route to the Vila do Conde and switch to the Central route till Pontevedra, and then switch to the Spiritual (Coastal) route. I am also planning to take some breaks exploring old Portuguese towns, visit my Camino friends in Vigo
